The 6th China (Huai'an) Grand Canal Urban Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition was held in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province from October 20th to 22nd. The exhibition is jointly organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Huai'an Municipal People's Government under the guidance of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association. Qimen Black Tea Group was invited to participate in the exhibition.
The theme of this year's intangible cultural heritage exhibition is "Colorful Intangible Cultural Heritage, Enjoying Life". It gathers more than 100 intangible cultural heritages from 8 provinces (cities) along the Grand Canal, and includes multiple sections such as the Canal Food Festival and the Millennium Tea Charm. It showcases representative national and provincial traditional culinary arts intangible cultural heritage projects with rich cultural characteristics, excellent display effects, and good inheritance and protection effects in various regions of the Grand Canal Basin. The exhibition aims to further integrate into the national strategy of the Grand Canal cultural belt and the construction of national cultural parks, inherit and promote canal culture, showcase canal civilization, systematically display the achievements of intangible cultural heritage protection in various provinces and cities along the Grand Canal, and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional culture.
The traditional production techniques of Qimen black tea are listed as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage and have been successfully included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The exhibition site showcased a variety of national level traditional tea making techniques and tea art of famous teas, creating a strong tea culture atmosphere. The traditional tea making techniques and tea art at the Qimen Black Tea booth have attracted numerous exhibitors and visitors to enjoy tea and exchange ideas.
As a representative enterprise of Qimen Black Tea's intangible cultural heritage, Qimen Black Tea Group exhibited its product features and technical level, which will enhance the popularity and reputation of Qimen Black Tea and help better inherit and promote Qimen Red Tea culture; At the same time, the group's exchange and interaction with other intangible cultural heritage projects in various provinces and cities along the Grand Canal, learning from the experience of other intangible cultural heritage projects, will promote the exchange and integration of tea culture, and further integrate Qimen black tea into the Grand Canal cultural belt.
