From September 22nd to 24th, the 5th Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo Intangible Cultural Heritage Theme Exhibition was held at the Suzhou International Expo Center. The exhibition is guided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, the Jiangsu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Suzhou Municipal People's Government. Qimen Black Tea Group was invited to participate in the exhibition.
This exhibition is divided into three major exhibition areas: "Canal Treasures - Special Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition along the Canal", "Tea Charm Millennium - Chinese Tea Culture Experience Space", and "Craftsmanship Workshop - Rural Revitalization Intangible Cultural Heritage Achievement Exhibition", as well as a functional "Cloud Intangible Cultural Heritage" online live broadcast room. By dynamically showcasing the latest achievements in the protection of intangible cultural heritage along the Grand Canal, we aim to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional culture, better integrate intangible cultural heritage into modern life, and serve high-quality economic development and people's quality of life.
The traditional production techniques of Qimen black tea are listed as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage and have been successfully included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. At the exhibition site, the Thousand Year Tea Charm - China Tea Culture Experience Space offers a wide range of non heritage cultural and creative products. The Qimen Black Tea booth attracted numerous exhibitors and visitors to enjoy tea and exchange ideas.
