On the morning of July 23rd, Qimen Black Tea Group handed over the first batch of Shangxing tea seeds to the Fifth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation; On the afternoon of August 27th, the second batch of Shangxing tea seeds was handed over to the Fifth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

At 18:30 on September 27th, China successfully launched its first reusable return technology experimental satellite, the Shijian 19 satellite, using the Long March 2D carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Qimen Chuanye tea seeds were carried into space by the satellite.

At 10:39 on October 11th, China successfully recovered its first reusable return technology experimental satellite, the Shijian 19 satellite, from the Dongfeng landing site, and the payload successfully completed the in orbit flight test.

On October 29th at 14:00, the delivery ceremony of the payload of China's first reusable return technology experimental satellite, the Shijian 19 satellite, was held in Beijing. Qimen Chuye tea seeds, which had traveled in space for 14 days, were also delivered to Qimen County at the same time.

The launch of Keemun tea seeds into space has achieved a breakthrough of zero space mutagenesis experiments on tea tree species in Anhui Province, marking the official entry of Keemun black tea into a new era of space breeding. It will effectively enhance the technological content and competitiveness of Keemun black tea and even Huicha.

The successful delivery of aerospace breeding tea seeds for Qimen tea not only brings new development opportunities for the Qimen black tea industry, but also provides valuable experience for the scientific and technological progress and innovative development of China's tea industry.
