A few days ago, Qimen County held a field meeting on the promotion of mechanized cultivation and weeding of tea gardens in Pingli Town. The agricultural and rural bureaus of all districts and counties in Mount Huangshan City, the agricultural machinery promotion centers in Mount Huangshan City and Qimen County, the head of Qihong Industrial Development Center in Qimen County, and the leaders in charge of agricultural machinery work in all villages and towns participated in the event, as well as relevant tea production and processing enterprises, tea professional cooperatives, tea garden agricultural machinery production entities and some agricultural machinery operation entities.

At the event, management tools such as tea garden pruning machines, micro tillage machines, and tea picking machines were showcased; Some agricultural machinery operators demonstrated the mechanical performance of tracked, hand-held, and backpack tea garden weeding machines on site; The person in charge of the tea machine production enterprise gave a detailed explanation of the working principle and operating points of tea machinery. The attendees watched, listened, and filmed at the same time, and developed a deep interest in this tea machine that is suitable for mountainous tea gardens, easy to operate, and cost-effective. Some tea companies conducted on-site operation experiences.

One person, one machine, can cultivate 20 acres of tea gardens in a day, which can be equivalent to 60 manual laborers. For old tea gardens, we need to make some simple organic transformations to achieve machine replacement and help us develop high-quality Qimen black tea, "said Chen Zhidong, General Manager of Zhejiang Tang Poetry Road Holdings Group Co., Ltd.
This on-site meeting will promote tea farmers and tea enterprises to increase the application of new machinery production, replace human labor with advanced machinery, maximize work efficiency, reduce production costs, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the tea industry. The attendees also visited Qimen Black Tea Group and listened to the company's introduction.
